Fast,
Multi-homed, Redundant Australian Network.
With Cisco powered redundant core network and multiple concurrently connected carriers ensures
there is no single point of failure. Unlike other providers who may flood (over saturate/high contention
ratio) their network or only switch to another carrier once their primary fails, or worse be single homed.
Further to this is the connection to the Internet via major data carriers Internode / Agile, Connect / AAPT,
Pipenetworks (IX Internet Exchange) and other Australian Peers.
Your Sites
hosted on High Quality Servers.
Our Servers are hosted in a World Class Data Centre facility.
Many hosts chose the cheapest option they can. In many cases the 'server' is of a quality that
you wouldn't even trust to be your home PC. We only use high quality servers and perform R&D frequently
between top server manufacturers to ensure that our servers are robust and continue to perform to optimum
efficiency.
Low contention
ratio ensures server resources are not overloaded.
The common trend by most hosting providers to offer 'cheap' pricing is to squeeze as many
customers on each server, in some cases over 500+ accounts a server, this in the end leads to never ending
problems due to system resources constantly running as a high load. We have policies in place to insure low
contention ratios are kept.
Globally Redundant Servers and Backup MX (Mail Server).
The DNS server is responsible for transferring your domain name (human format) to an IP
address (computer format). This is how computers find your site when someone looks up your domain name. Most
hosting companies run their name servers on the same network as your site (and in many cases on the same
server), if that goes down, so does your site and emails as your domain name won't be able to be resolved. We
use geographically dispersed name servers. This also helps in the translation of the address for faster
response times.
24/7 Server and Network Monitoring
The servers and network are monitored 365 days a year, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, by
software and people.

Other
Additional Services:
If you prefer to migrate to an IMAP mail protocol we can mange the Integration of email
services into a Google Powered, Google Apps Servers – Gmail. We can offer our expertise in integrating your
business to utilise the power of Google Apps Services.
With the power of IMAP mail protocol and the massive offering of 6GB email storage, there is
no reason to lose an email again.
What is
IMAP?
IMAP, or Internet Message Access Protocol, lets you download messages from email servers onto
your computer so you can access your mail with a program like Microsoft Outlook Express or Apple Mail, even
when you aren't connected to the Internet.
IMAP creates a constant connection between mail clients
(desktop and/or mobile) and Gmail.
What's the difference between IMAP and
POP?
Unlike POP, IMAP offers two-way communication between your web Gmail and your email client(s).
This means when you log in to Gmail using a web browser, actions you perform on email clients and mobile
devices (eg: putting mail in a 'work' folder) will instantly and automatically appear in Gmail (eg: it will
already have a 'work' label on that email).
In addition, IMAP provides a better method to access your mail from multiple devices. If you
check your email at work, on your mobile phone, and again at home, IMAP ensures that new mail is accessible
from any device at any given time.
Finally, IMAP offers a more stable experience overall. Whereas POP can be prone to losing
messages or downloading the same messages multiple times, IMAP avoids this through its two-way syncing
capabilities between your mail clients and your web Gmail.
If you're trying to decide between using standard POP and integrating IMAP with Gmail,
we recommend IMAP.
